To increase flow, integrate the whole body.
Flow is a key principle in Pilates and increases its benefits. Finding flow may be easier for some than for others. Once discovered, however, the body’s mechanics immediately thank us during practice and for a long time afterward.

The first paragraph in Joseph Pilates’ book, “Return to Life”, says:
“…Our interpretation of physical fitness is the attainment and maintenance of a uniformly developed body with a sound mind fully capable of naturally, easily, and satisfactorily performing our many and varied daily tasks with spontaneous zest and pleasure.”
